Edge, carrying power
Sloppy workmanship. I have access to fiber optics, hence I took an extensive look "inside". Various joints are a bit rough and several blobs of solder were in evidence.

All in all, this is one of two of the best Bach Strads that I have played in MANY years. The other one, a different limited edition model, was not too bad. Personally, I will specify my own material and design requirements and Roy Lawler will do the building. For stock production trumpets, in my opinion, Zig Kanstul takes top honors with his "Chicago" series, specifically the .464 bore and the .470 bore. I own and have used both of these horns with great satisfaction.
